My Services

My Approach
I run a reliable full day (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) unlicensed program, based on the school schedule (September- June). I call my program Mommy Daycare, as I want it to feel like a home away from home. I take children of any age, but the majority are between 10 months to 4 years. I want my program to feel like a home, so the maximum enrollment is 4 children, which is below regulatory thresholds.
I do daily activities with the children in my care. The children are allowed to explore their environment, develop their self help skills and confidence, with me nurturing and extending their skills.

Daily activities include arts and crafts (colouring, painting, gluing), sensory activities (playdough, water, sand, goop, snow) imaginary play, song and dance, books, activities that develop fine motor skills (puzzles, blocks).

We go for neigbourhood walks with a quad stroller, and/or develop gross motor skills in the backyard, and driveway with ride on toys, balls, and other outdoor toys.
My Philosophy
Because it is an intimate environment, we can be flexible with our days. If it is beautiful outside, we take our learning outdoors. If the children are happily involved in an indoor activity, or if there is inclement weather, we can remain focused on indoor activities, or bring the outdoors inside.

I nurture little personalities, supervising their growth, and using positive reinforcement and interactions, compassion, and kindness to develop each child to their fullest potential. I comfort them like a mom, and help redirect them through tougher times and early stages of development.

I am approachable, patient, and work with parents and families to create a seamless partnership to help raise their children. I provide guidance and become a resource to them through the many skills and stages of growth, including sleep and toilet training, speech development, and other socially age appropriate behaviours.

My training, many years of experience, and professional outlook help the children in my care gain confidence, positive interactions, cognitive growth, and socialization in a healthy, safe environment.
