My name is Janet Boughner. I grew up in Toronto, Ontario. After finishing my BA at Queen's University, I realized that working with children was where my true interest lay. I completed my ECE diploma (Early Childhood Education) at The Canadian Mothercraft Society.  I worked for the YMCA in teacher and director roles for their child care department for 10 years. After having my second child, I decided that I wanted to be at home to raise my own two children. In 2003, I created my own child care program. Mommy Daycare was opened in my private home. I have built up my reputation over 20+ years of providing a high quality, intimate, educational, and loving environment for over 30+ families, and developed many returning clients in those years. I provide a home away from home, with a balance of educational activities and free play, in my friendly North Toronto neighbourhood.
